WiIlliam Southwell in Dublin ca.1790

5 octaves : FF-f'''
William Southwell (1736-1835) was one of the earliest piano makers along with John Broadwood and is famous for his ingenious patents for square and upright pianos but also for his cabinet works making fancy and unique pianos.
He is indeed one of the most important makers in the united kingdom and one of very few of those many who was not German!
Here we present one of his very earliest pianos made in Dublin probably around 1791-2.
It has dampers missing but the rest is totally in original condition.
